Yip, it's still a buyer's market! With sales and house prices down across Metro Vancouver, properties are staying on the market for longer, increasing inventory for buyers. That being said, interest in Whistler properties continues with the average sales prices consistent with the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Even though we're facing a dip in activity across southwestern B.C, Squamish is definitely experiencing a milder version of the slump. Sales transactions have decreased but prices have not seen a parallel decline. Specifically, detached homes with suites in the $900k - $1.2M range are getting snapped up quickly.
